rose tinted glass.
It means…
“… if someone thinks about or looks at something with rose-coloured glass, they think it is more pleasant than it really is…”
I guess we cannot help it; looking at ourselves through a rose tinted glass. After every break up, every fight, every argument, every misunderstanding, after every time there is a friction between us and another human being.
We cannot help it. Or at least… I cannot help it, not that it’s a bad thing, really. That’s just human nature, isn’t it?
So, when we can’t change the way people look at us, we should probably change the way we look at ourselves for a change.
After all in reality, we really AREN’T what we see through that rose tinted glass.
As an end note, here’s a really good one… “… those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones… ”. Look it up, will you :)
