So, after 8 gruelling hours on the flight (which I slept in and out of), we finally arrived. It was about ½ hour past midnight. I was sleepy and badly needed a stretch. But we were held back for a while when someone declared that s/he felt a bit unwell and the quarantine officer had to be called in.
(nampak tembam gile akibat tak cukup tidur. cis.)
We had coke and fries at Hungry Jacks. Of course, we weren’t even that hungry, but whatever. I couldn’t believe that it was that cold in summer. This is penipuan! It’s supposed to be summer so why on earth was it so cold. Tak masuk akal okay.
After that we waited at the waiting area which was more comfortable. I tried to get some sleep but we weren’t allowed to put our heads on the benches unless we wanted to be asked to leave the premises. There was a shouting match between the enforcement officers and some men who made a bed out of the benches at the waiting area.
I’ll be very honest now. I wasn’t very impressed with Melbourne when I arrived.
And it didn’t help that I was sleepy and tired and was in dire need of some place comfortable to land my head.
